About the Blog

hi, i'm celeste i made this blog for working on my gentle comics habit. the last rule says to post to a blog but, at first, i didn't have anywhere that felt right for that. i didn't want to post to social media and clutter my media tab. i didn't want to make any new accounts on social media. and i didn't want to feel like i was spamming a certain discord server with my daily comics. so i decided to make an actual blog.

but, after checking out so many sites, trying to find alternatives to things, i realized pretty much everywhere sucks. even neocities has some bitcoin bullshit going on on their donate page. but this proved to be the least frustrating site to work with and if it goes up in flames like everything else, i have a whole layout that i can move somewhere else. so here i am. for now.

right now this looks like my main site, but it's actually meant to be just a small part. i wanted to work on this first mostly to have somewhere to post my comics as quick as possible, but also to dip my toes back into coding with a sort of small project. the layout for this blog, zonelets, has been so helpful for that. it's perfect for this blog and it's helped me work out a bit how i want to structure my main site. i'll eventually move everything to a subsection of my main site, but once again, here it is. for now.
